Athena

Athena is kind and gentle by nature, and like her father Yuma, she is athletic and full of stamina. She can hike trails and explore the woods without ever seeming winded. She loves a good game of tug with her buddy Apollo, often outsmarting him by snatching the toy and racing down the yard with quick bursts of speed. Camping is one of her favorite adventures; she thrives on exploring new places, taking in the sights and smells, and keeping an eager eye out for squirrels and chipmunks. At home, she spends plenty of time chasing squirrels who taunt her from the trees, and she has a special rivalry with the chipmunks who always seem to win the game by disappearing at the last second.

She is especially sweet with children like her mother Jazz, and loves spending time with my sister’s two daughters, always gentle and patient. Intelligent and curious, Athena has an alert, attentive look about her, as if she is always trying to figure out what people are up to. She is a confident Boston who takes new experiences in stride and does not get rattled easily. Whether she is around horses, at a motocross event, or right in the middle of everyday commotion, Athena remains calm, curious, and ready for the next adventure.
